Bankruptcy Attorney Jesse Cloyd Joins Salazar Jackson in Miami

Miami-based law firm Salazar Jackson announced that Jesse Cloyd has joined the firm as an associate. Cloyd focuses his practice on bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
Cloyd is experienced in handling bankruptcy litigation matters, including the prosecution and settlement of numerous avoidance actions arising in the TOUSA and Taylor Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corp. bankruptcies. He also represented the Chapter 11 Trustee for the law firm of Rothstein, Rosenfeldt & Adler, P.A., in a case that was reported to be the largest Ponzi scheme in Florida history.

Outside the office, Cloyd is a member of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar as well as the Bankruptcy Bar Association. Highly respected in his field, Cloyd was the recipient of the Daily Business Review’s Most Effective Lawyers Award in the Bankruptcy category for 2012.
Cloyd earned his law degree, cum laude, from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University and his Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance from Clemson University. He is admitted to practice law in Florida as well as the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
