Crowdfunding: Not Just For Businesses Anymore

When most people think of crowdfunding, they think of someone looking to raise funds to create a new product and launch a business.

But this man in Detroit wasn't looking to develop the next million dollar idea...however, he benefited from crowdfunding after the Detroit Free Press caught wind of the fact that he walked 10-miles to and from work everyday because he didn't have a car.
