Luis Salazar asserts that small law firms must swiftly incorporate AI into their processes or risk being left behind permanently. In “Embracing AI: Why Small Law Firms Must Leverage Competitive Advantage,” Luis discusses why a willingness to quickly embrace AI is critical.
Adapting to technology has helped smaller firms compete with Big-Law over the last decade, but as those firms adapt to AI, the nimbleness advantage held by smaller firms will begin to erode.
Luis suggests automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks, allowing lawyers to focus their time and energy on higher-value work. Tasks particularly suited for AI include legal research, contract analysis, due diligence, and predictive analytics.
Salazar Law has a policy of continually testing AI use cases to maximize our effectiveness for our clients. Currently, we encourage all our employees to use one of the primary language-based AIs for daily use. We are excited to see the ongoing improvements to our efficiency as the technology advances.
