Luis Salazar Named to the National Law Journal’s list of Technology Law Trailblazers

At Salazar Law, we are mold-breakers, disrupters, innovators…and now we can officially say we are Trailblazers! We are thrilled to share that our firm founder, Luis Salazar, has been named to the National Law Journal’s list of Technology Law Trailblazers for 2019 for his role in drafting the Privacy Policy Enforcement in Bankruptcy Act, which protects the data of consumers in the hands of troubled companies, and for being appointed as consumer privacy ombudsman to protect over 40 million data profiles.
This honor is particularly meaningful since the article that led him down this path was published in the NLJ. Luis is one of only three lawyers outside of Big Law to be recognized! Thanks to all the members of the team, past and present, that helped the investigations and reports along the way, including Celi Aguilar, Kevin Cabrera, Jesse Cloyd, and Ali-Marcelle Lee-Sin.
Congratulations to all the other Trailblazers!
