Miami Herald: Judge lets Miami Jai-Alai continue operating in Chapter 11

Our firm was on the front page of Thursday’s Miami Herald in the paper's continued coverage of the Miami Jai-Alai Chapter 11 filing. We are proudly representing the company in its restructuring. 

“We’re definitely not a distressed company,” Miami Jai-Alai lawyer Luis Salazar told Judge Robert A. Mark at an afternoon hearing. “We’re kind of holding our own for a change.”

Linda Jackson, Salazar’s partner at Salazar Jackson, said even a brief halt to the casino’s access to cash would force it to stop paying out winnings and close its doors.
