Salazar Jackson establishes India practice group; Hires Veteran Neha S. Dagley to Chair

Miami-based business law powerhouse, Salazar Jackson, LLP, has formed an India Practice Group in response to growing client demand for trade and investment in India. Neha S. Dagley, a native of Mumbai, has joined the firm as Senior Counsel to chair this new area. As one of only a few South Florida firms to establish such a practice, Salazar Jackson believes that India’s flourishing economy presents several immediate business opportunities.
“India’s economic boom has created a hot opportunity for Indian nationals who want to invest in South Florida, as well as local business owners looking to invest and trade with Indian businesses,” said Luis Salazar, Cofounder of Salazar Jackson. “The global economic and legal landscape is changing rapidly, and successful businesses must be able to seize opportunities internationally, as well as locally. “

Prior to joining Salazar Jackson, Ms. Dagley served as a senior commercial litigation attorney with an AV-Rated Fort Lauderdale commercial litigation law firm. Fluent in Hindi and Gujarati, she is actively involved in the Network of Indian Professionals (NetIP) and the South Asian Bar Association of Florida. She also completed a summer internship at a prominent law firm in Mumbai while attending the University of Miami School of Law. She has represented a wide array of clients, ranging from multi-million dollar residential properties to luxury yacht owners to shareholders, individuals and business entities.
Outside the office, Ms. Dagley is serving a three-year term on The Florida Bar Voluntary Bar Liaison Committee (2014-2017) as well as membership in the Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society.
She earned her juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, and her Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University, also cum laude. She is licensed to practice law in Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
