Senate departures may put damper on privacy momentum

Jan. 15, 2013 - Law 360 - The U.S. Senate is poised to lose two of its most vocal leaders on privacy issues - Jay Rockefeller and John Kerry - which could create a major setback for privacy legislation efforts.
“The House is going to sorely miss Rep. Markey,” Salazar Jackson LLP partner Luis Salazar tells Law360. “He’s been a strong and steady advocate of privacy legislation on a number of cutting edge issues."
